Based in Hertford, I offer a non-judgemental and supportive environment to help you work through any form of problem or issue you may be currently facing. I have been trained in an integrative way which means I have experience of the main modalities of psychotherapy. My approach in the way I choose to work is primarily in an existential way. Aiming to help you explore your lived experience, the choices you make in life and the struggles you may be facing.

Anxiety and stress are everyday factors in life and I believe that therapy can help to manage and reduce the associated emotional pain and mental suffering.

Given the stressful and difficult times we are currently experiencing, it would be hard not to be concerned or worried about what it means for ourselves and our loved ones. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety or isolation in the current climate I am able to offer telephone or online sessions. These can be one off sessions or ongoing - please contact me if you would like more details.

Psychotherapy is a type of talking treatment in which personal interaction with a therapist can help a person overcome emotional problems or issues they may be facing in life. Psychotherapy aims to improve well-being and mental health, to help a person live their best life.

How it can help

Psychotherapy can help a person to deal with negative thoughts and feelings leading to positive changes in life. By talking about things in a supportive environment with a therapist who is objective, neutral and supportive, adverse thoughts and behaviour patterns can be identified and amended.

What to expect

It's common to feel worried or unsure about what to expect from therapy if you haven't been before. I provide a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for us to explore together what  you feel is negatively impacting your life and help you to work towards feeling happier and more fulfilled.
